This piece is forged from one solid piece of 52100 steel, and has a extremely unique handle. Where a handle typically tapers in thickness and increases in width, this handle does the opposite. The result is a handle that feels very natural, and makes the rocking motion of the cut incredible comfortable. This knife moves so fast and smooth, its a joy to use. The handle is a variation of a full tang, and the African  blackwood grip was burned to fit so its a seamless fit up held in place by hourglass peened brass pins which are sanded in line with the grip. The blade is hardened to around 62 rockwell, and will hold an edge for a very long time. The blade will rust if not cared for, and the integral handle needs the same care as the blade as they are forged from the same steel. If you'd like to see how this knife was made, please check out the YouTube video of its creation. The blade is approximately 8" long with a 2.25" tall heel, the handle is around 5" long. All sales are final and there are no refunds.
