This is the perfect in between knife you might not have in your kitchen. Of all the knives I’ve made this is the one I consistently get the best feedback for. 
Someday it’s the ultimate steak knife, others use it as a daily driver that is capable of any task from breaking down a chicken with ease to chopping tall veg with exceptional knuckle clearance due to its blade height. 
Kind of like the top half is a Santoku, hence the name “Chonkoku” (like a chonky santoku). 
These are the 2.0 version of the OG, this batch being forged from a single piece of 52100 steel, the blade features an integral bolster that flows perfectly into the grip. 
This results in a very very balanced knife and one that resists moisture better than any other design.
